✊🏾 I've got some book recommendations for you. They're written by Black authors, feature Black characters and more often than not are about the Black experience. 🖤
The one where I spotlight cozy mystery series by Black authors! It's more important now than ever to read diverse and books by BIPOC. I hope this list gives you a starting point when it comes to reading cozies (and books in general) written by Black authors. 💖 Have you read any of these? If so, which series is your favorite? EDIT: It was brought to my attention that Alexander McCall Smith is not a black author. That is my bad! It’s been so long since I read the series that I confused the main character for the author. I still recommend the series but wanted to point out this error. 🤦🏽♀️

🌸Hiii! Welcome to part 2 of #BookCommuniTEA. I wanted to read a response to the book Once More With Chutzpah, speak about authors and social media expectations and how publishing is using the hashtag OwnVoices. Also, I am SO SORRY for the insufferable amount of times I say "interesting" 😒. Thanks for watching !
